Stopped by Messick’s Farm Equipment in Halifax recently and had an excellent experience from the moment I walked through the door.<br><br>Immediately upon entering, I was greeted professionally by Brian Yearick in sales, which set the tone for the entire visit. I was then helped by Josh in the parts department who assisted me in picking out diesel engine oil for my tractor along with dust caps for my hydraulic lines. Josh was knowledgeable, helpful, easy to talk to, and took the time to make sure I got exactly what I needed. Both Josh and Brian were friendly, professional, and genuinely pleasant to deal with, which makes a big difference today.<br><br>I’ve actually been shopping at Messick’s in Carlisle for many years and have purchased several STIHL products from them over time, so this was my first visit to the Halifax location. I was really impressed with how clean, organized, and well stocked the entire facility was.<br><br>Their STIHL selection alone is impressive. Chainsaws, weed trimmers, leaf blowers, push mowers, pressure washers, accessories, oils, parts… they have a huge variety in stock and displayed extremely well. Beyond STIHL, they also carry New Holland, Kubota, Ferris, Exmark, Cub Cadet, and more, along with a full service department, rentals, parts counter, attachments, hardware, and farm equipment support all under one roof.<br><br>As a contractor myself, I pay attention to operations, organization, cleanliness, and customer experience. Messick’s clearly has their systems dialed in. The showroom was spotless, the staff was engaged and professional, and the overall atmosphere felt polished and well managed from start to finish.<br><br>Whether you’re a homeowner maintaining a few acres, a landscaper, farmer, contractor, or equipment enthusiast, this is the type of dealership worth supporting. Bought a tractor/ mower, the sales man was friendly and professional. The sale process was quick and easy. This is a great company to deal with.
