Thought this company was a great company and were what they said they were for many years until they were not . They must have a good way of presenting a professional persona and hiding all the dirt in unseen places. I purchased a vehicle from them in 2018. Was a very happy customer all these years until I went to sell my pathfinder this past March 2026 . I actually did sell it , sold it to a resident that also lived in Indiana . Signed my title over that I have been registering for 8 years clear of liens as it’s always been and received a phone call next day she couldn’t transfer it . I was in disbelief , never expected that phone call or fathomed it . After many calls and trips to the BMV trying to understand why she couldn’t transfer it . I was informed I had a non transferable title because it was branded as a junk vehicle. I was informed by the BMV it has prior brandings still on it in Texas( where my vehicle came from when NK auto sales purchased it originally as a totaled out flood vehicle to rebuild it ) that made it technically illegal to sell it from how the title was branded still and was told it should have never been legally sold to me in the first place based on the brandings still listed on it ….. I had to suck it up and buy my car back from the girl who bought it a week after I had sold it to her. My title somehow was pushed through from Kentucky to Indiana when I purchased it . Northern Kentucky auto sales “ handled” all my title transferring for me initially when I purchased it and no problems to my knowledge until it was time for me to sell it …. In short , found out my title was “washed “ there were brandings left on it from when they purchased it from TX when it was totaled as a flood vehicle . These brandings were never removed properly and were washed out, are the terms I have been told . I spoke with NK Auto sales after this all occurred and was told this unfortunately HAS happened before but it’s okay don’t worry they WOULD help me get it resolved . After speaking with the GM then , I was offered for them to sell it on my behalf ( for a hefty cost ) or they would give me a WAY Less then fair offer to buy it from me and then sell it. There offer was $4000 less than what the GM told me I could sell it for on there lot on my behalf and my vehicle is a 2014, so pretty much they were offering me next to nothing for it to rectify there lack of properly taking the steps to sell a vehicle with a clean /clear title . I was not happy with their offers as nothing was close to equaling what I had just sold it for and what it is worth . I also had another dilemma, I had a title now that was signed by the girl I sold it to. I went to BMV to get a new duplicate title clean of all signatures since I had already sold it to someone and now the system has flagged it and I am not able to get a duplicate title . I now have a vehicle that has a flagged bad title on it , I can’t sell it and a good vehicle now sitting in my driveway that has no use . My only option per the BMV is to have NK Auto sales do a corrective title affidavit and buy it back from me putting them back as original owners since it was a rebuilt title that came from them prior to me purchasing from them …. I presented this to them after my initial cry for their help and explained it is my ONLY option and requested they please make things right , pay me what I sold it to the girl for and I would walk away feeling they did the right thing … If they were not willing to do the right thing , I would have no choice but seek legal counsel …… their response back , in short was , I’m happy to sell on your behalf as stated prior , but if your threatening me , then please stop wasting both of our times and seek your legal counsel . Which I have done and am in the process of , but wanted to be sure to post this review in the meantime to save if even one person from purchasing a vehicle from this shady company …. There is a reason they had to switch a couple years back to only selling to Kentucky residence …..
